BIKES, BEER AND BYGONE BOOZERS.

Pub closures are not a new phenomenon. Over the centuries hostelries have come and hostelries have gone. This is my attempt to chronicle some of these lost pubs and former inns, often visiting them on one of my trusty pedal-equipped steeds.  There is a bit of a bias to those lost from Norfolk and Derbyshire but other counties of England do feature and there have been forays into Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland too.

Occasionally items with the subject matter of bikes and/or beer may creep in. For this I offer no apology. Just re-read the title!
